News CHANGES ALLOW NOVA SCOTIA FLEA MARKET TO START EARLIER Mahone Bay officials are changing the rules so Sunday flea markets can start earlier. The Lions Club wants to start the Sunday sales before noon, a change which has been endorsed by the Mahone Bay church council. However, the current temporary vendor bylaw prohibits operation before noon, so town council gave notice of its intention to make changes to the policy April 14. Sections of the bylaw will be replaced to allow set up to begin at 8 a.m. and sales at 9 a.m. The change will go into effect after the next council meeting on May 12, if council approves the amendments at that time. Mahone Bay is located in Nova Scotia, Canada
